The Foundation for Belmont Education (FBE) is looking for a part-time Administrator to work 15-20 hours per week in support of the mission of our non-profit organization. This key role is responsible for smooth and efficient administrative functions, working both independently and along-side our volunteer Board of Directors and executive committee. Hours are flexible, with some need to be in Belmont to work from the FBE office, to meet with the community and to attend evening board meetings and fundraising events.
The FBE works with residents and businesses in the Town of Belmont to raise private funds that are used to enrich the education provided by the Belmont Public Schools. For over 25 years, the FBE has successfully granted approximately $4 million in support of hundreds of projects initiated and organized by administrators, teachers, and staff.
To qualify for this position, you would have solid computer skills, including advanced Excel and Word, along with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and discretion. Additional skills include strong organization ability, with capability to create systems and processes, manage lists and execute wide-range of administrative functions, including assistance with budgeting and finance functions. It would be helpful, but not required, to have other skills such as bookkeeping, website management, Salesforce.com administration.
